The conception of education and the graduate's profile in the scope of the RESOCIALIZATION major. The graduate of the faculty pedagogy with specialization in resocialization will be professionally prepared for educational, therapeutic and social resocialization work in educational, care-educational, preventive and social rehabilitation institutions.

 Gaining specialist knowledge in the scope of clinical psychology, psychology of non- social adaptation, social pathologies, victimology, social prophylaxis, therapy, resocialization and post-penitentiary pedagogy, among others, the graduate is prepared to do:

 • educational, protective and therapeutic tasks (tutor, educator, therapist in schools, curator centres, care emergency services, etc.),

 • preventive tasks (diagnosing and solving educational problems, diagnosing environmental threats, working out preventive programmes for diagnostic centres, specialist counseling institutions, non - governmental institutions, etc.),

 • resocialization tasks (in centres of social adaptation, addiction counseling institutions, young offenders institutions, penal institutions, in courts as judicial and penal curators, in police - in sections of prevention, in police children detention centers, etc.).

 The graduate of resocialization will be prepared in the following spheres:

 • social prophylaxis: to carry out diagnoses of environmental threats, working out programmes, organization and realization of preventive programmes,

 • resocialization and psycho-correction activity: to prepare diagnoses of etiology and educational deficits, group and individual resocialization programmes, care-educational diagnosing of family functions, therapy (socio-therapy, activity therapy, music therapy, drama and others) in a family and group in isolating and open conditions,

 • to work in counseling-resocialization institutions (diagnostic centres, addiction counseling centres, state and non-state administration institutions, centres of critical intervention), at schools (as therapists-tutors and school pedagogy teachers), in the army and police (in a prevention section), in courts (as judicial and penal curators). Specialist training is organized in this field.

 The graduate of the pedagogy faculty and resocialization major will be prepared for educational, therapeutic and resocialization work in educational, care-educational, preventive and resocialization institutions. Gaining specialist knowledge, among others, in the scope of clinical psychology, non social adaptation, social pathologies, social victiomology, therapy, resocialization and post-penitentiary pedagogy, he will be prepared to perform educational, protective and therapeutic tasks.

 The resocialization specialization aims at providing students with suitable, complex knowledge and techniques skills from the sphere of preventive and resocializing influences directed towards individuals showing a syndrome of social non adaptation. The programme of studies offers two blocks of thematic spheres: theoretical and workshop. As far as theory is concerned, students will gain knowledge relating to social prophylaxis, resocialization, diagnosis, theory of educational prognosing as well as working out individualized preventive and resocializing programmes. In turn, workshop activities are devoted to cognition of methods of resocializing-therapeutic influences.
