Didactic base The library of WSETiNS gathers collection of books from the range of led majors and specializations of studies and administers the surface of 45m2 as well as a separated reading-room with 20 seats. Since the beginning of its existence, the book collection has been introducing to a computer system ‘Libra’ adapted to servicing faculty school libraries. The library possesses 2 computer seats for a reader's service to use the local database and its sources in the Internet – a module Libra. www serves this, and it also gives the possibility of access to the database of Congress Library. The book collection from the range of economic- social sciences includes books from the field of economy, economic thought history, social and economic policy, integration of Poland with the UE, tourism, organization and management, marketing, finances, accountancy, banking, law, ecology, tourist and economic geography, hotel trade, regional and housing economy, agro-tourism, econometrics, statistics, mathematics, computer studies, logistics, sociology and others. The number of magazines titles (in this foreign) -30. Moreover, in the academic year 2005/2006 the College is going to buy the module of e-magazine, guaranteeing the access to foreign magazines. The number of volumes results from the fact that in the first and second years of the college existence, the college rented didactic rooms in a secondary school on Podklasztorna street in Kielce. There was the lack of room for gathering the library collection. Therefore, our college signed in the year 2001 an agreement with the authorities of Świętokrzyska Politechnika about enabling our students to lend books in their library. Students of our college, after a special training preparing to using the library, on the basis of their record books and students’ identity cards can use the PŚ library and reading-room on the ground of an appropriate contract. The base of WSETiNS faculty library is increasing steadily. Average monthly purchases are about 70 volumes. Information about the book collection is accessible in catalogues: alphabetical, subject, title, UKD. The reading-room possesses 8 seats for students’ own work and computer seats described above.
